FAQ:
Can I invite +1s?
The launch party is a closed event and attendance is capped due to safety regulations. We are NOT selling physical tickets at the door. If someone would like to attend last minute, they may purchase a ticket on their phone if we are not sold out. All guests will be asked to show either their physical invitation or e-ticket at the door before entering.
Can I go in and out of the event?
Yes, we will stamp your hand after showing your ticket upon first entry.
How will I receive my ticket?
If you buy an e-ticket, you will receive email confirmation including the address of the venue within 24 hours of purchasing. Show your e-ticket at the door.
If you buy a physical invitation, it will also fast pass in the envelope. Use this to cut the line at the door, AND show it at the magazine table to redeem your FREE Club Rambutan keychain. Your physical memento must be turned in at the table in exchange for one keychain (you will not receive the fast pass back). We CANNOT give you a keychain if you do not give us your physical fast pass in return!
How can I get to the venue?
Nearest BART station is Lake Merritt, and from there you can take the AC Transit 62 (towards Fruitvale Station), then take a 5 minute walk from the 5th Ave & E. 10th St. bus stop.
It’s also an ~18 minute walk from Lake Merritt BART.
Street parking is also available.
I pre-ordered a copy of Issue 3 and opted in for “pick up” instead of shipping. Can I pick it up at the party?
Yes! As long as you marked "Bay Area pick up" on your order online, we will be distributing them at the party. Just find the Club Rambutan table and show a volunteer or team member your email receipt.
Do you handle cash at the event?
This is a NO CASH event. Tickets are also nonrefundable.
