Art is (and always will be) political. It is a tool for story telling, education, and advocacy.
Especially now, we cannot let the stories of our immigrant neighbors be censored or manipulated. It is crucial to further amplify their voices amidst the lies and violence enabled by the Trump administration.
ICE BREAKERZ is not just an effort to pool financial aid for those affected by I.C.E.: it is to instill courage within the rest of us to identify and reproach injustice. We hope this event will allow our guess to grow deeper roots within this community in San Francisco using creativity as an act of resistance and solidarity.
Club Rambutan will be donating 50% of net profits to local Bay Area organizations supporting the cause. I.C.E. OUT EVERYWHERE!
