“I feel strongly that the things we collect/buy/accumulate throughout our lives can often be representations of memories or events that are important to us. I think that we also gravitate towards things that “speak to us”, things that are relatable and that we subconsciously choose to represent us.”

I'm an electrical engineer, material girl, and children's book illustrator from Phoenix who likes to tinker with synthesizers and textile arts. My work blends craft practices with electronics to explore ideas of identity, nature, and culture with a touch of humor. I recently graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where I cultivated an open-source practice across both hardware and art while leaning into my newest obsession: sustainable and biomaterials for making and co-founding an online resource, Material Kitchen.
